Cold Weather Payments Triggered In Milton Keynes North

Cold Weather Payments

Cold Weather Payments have been triggered in some areas of Milton Keynes North following the recent freezing temperatures.

People on some benefits, including Jobseeker's Allowance and Universal Credit, may be eligible for a £25 payment to help with heating costs.

Cold Weather Payments are paid if the average temperature in an area is recorded as, or forecast to be, zero degrees celsius or below over 7 consecutive days.

You’ll get £25 for each 7 day period of very cold weather between 1 November and 31 March with the MK North payments triggered between 6/2/2021 and 12/2/2021.

The Payments have been triggered in the following postcodes in MK North: MK1, MK10, MK11, MK12, MK13, MK14, MK15, MK16, MK19, MK43, MK46, MK6, MK9, NN7, NN8, NN9.

If you are eligible you do not need to contact anybody to receive the payment as the money will be paid directly into your account.
