Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, has congratulated Dawson Group for receiving The Queen's Award For Enterprise.
The Tongwell-based company's innovation by utilising inflatable storage technology with temperature-controlled storage capability for disaster relief and aid projects saw them recognised by the prestigious awards.
They were successful in the Innovation category which is assed on: invention, design or production of goods; performance of services; marketing and distribution; or, after-sale support of goods or services, that have realised outstanding commercial success over two years or continuous commercial success over five years.
Ben Everitt MP said: "I'm absolutely delighted one of our local businesses, Dawson Group, has been recognised for their innovation, and for such an incredible cause.
"I've always championed our fantastic local businesses here in Milton Keynes and this is yet another example of the vibrant business scene we have."
