Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, had a 'flipping fantastic' Pancake Day at the historic Olney Pancake Race event.
Ben started three of the children's races by saying the traditional words "toss your pancakes, are you ready?" and ringing the Pancake Bell.
The races included nursery, preschool, infant academy, middle school and Ousedale, before the main event at 11.55am which was first run in 1445.
There were a variety of stalls, pancakes, refreshments, piper and street entertainments, while the Cowper & Newton Museum and Garden was also open.
Ben commented, "I absolutely loved getting involved, it was a flipping fantastic start to my day. It's great to see the community and schools coming together for this historic and fun day."
