Ahead of UK Parliament Week, Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, gave a talk to Sixth Form students at Stantonbury School on the role of an MP before taking questions on everything politics.
Ben spoke about how he got into politics and eventually became a Member of Parliament and how politicians have responded to the difficulties the country has faced over the last few years including the pandemic and war on Ukraine.
He was then quizzed by the students on his goals for Milton Keynes during his time as an MP, the role of Select Committees in Parliament, the housing situation, how the whips office works, and much more.
