Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, has met with TIER, the latest e-scooter company to get up and running in Milton Keynes with new and improved safety features.
Representatives from TIER were based outside Milton Keynes Central train station speaking to residents about their newest model after taking over from Spin. They will join Lime and Ginger operating in MK.
TIER's new model includes new safety features such as brighter lights and upgraded 360° visibility indicators to make it safer for pedestrians with sight loss. It also includes swappable battery technology which will help reduce congestion and pollution when re-charging. This makes it more environmentally friendly and emits 80% less carbon dioxide than a private car over its life cycle
