As we recover from the effects of the pandemic, we’ve got a chance to tackle the long-standing problems our area faces and improve the lives of local people.
For many residents, that means cutting crime and making our streets safer.
We’ve already recruited 250 more police officers for Thames Valley Police. And we’re making sure they have the tools and the funding to do their jobs. But we can go further. That’s why I’m asking for your help. I’m creating a plan to cut crime in Milton Keynes North and build back better from the pandemic.
And I want it to be shaped by residents like you. So will you tell me your priorities for cutting crime in Milton Keynes North?
By telling me your priorities, you can make sure I’m focused on the issues that matter most to residents. Like setting up Milton Keynes’ first ever Pet Theft Taskforce. Funding a Violence Reduction Unit to tackle violent crime and the causes of it. And we’ve already increased the number of offi cers on our streets by 250. Whatever your priorities are for cutting crime, I want to hear them. It only takes a few minutes to fill in this survey.
